AI vs AI Showdowns & Smarter Bots!

Hey Go enthusiasts!

We've just rolled out an exciting update to our online Go game, and we can't wait for you to try it out! The biggest news is a brand-new game mode:

Introducing: AI vs AI Mode! 🤖💥🤖

Ever wondered what happens when two of our KataNet AIs battle it out on the 19x19 board? Now you can find out!

• How it works: Head to "Settings," choose "AI vs AI" from the "Game Mode" dropdown.
• AI Level: The "AI Level" setting (Dan or Kyu) will now apply to both AI players. Want a clash of titans? Set it to Dan! Prefer a more unpredictable kyu-level game? That's an option too!
• Watch the Game Unfold: Once you start, the AIs will automatically take turns. Sit back, relax, and watch the strategies unfold.
• Control the Pace: We've added a new setting specifically for this mode: "Delay Between AI Moves." You can slow it down to analyze each move or speed it up for a quicker match.
• Observation Mode: Your usual game controls (Pass, Undo, Hint) will be disabled in this mode, as the AIs are in full control. The board cursor will also change to indicate you're in observation mode.

Smarter AI Behavior & Hinting: 🤔💡

We've also made some under-the-hood tweaks to how our AI thinks, especially regarding the "Dan" and "Kyu" levels:

• Consistent AI Strength: Whether you're playing against the AI (Player vs AI) or watching two AIs (AI vs AI), the selected "Dan" or "Kyu" level will now more consistently reflect the AI's playing strength. The "Dan" AI always tries its best, while the "Kyu" AI provides a more accessible challenge (or a more creatively chaotic one when two Kyu AIs play!).
• Always-Strong Hints: When you ask for a "Hint" in Player vs Player or Player vs AI mode, the suggestion will now always come from the AI's strongest ("Dan") perspective, giving you the best possible strategic advice for the current board, regardless of the game's difficulty setting.

We're really excited about the AI vs AI mode as it's not only fun to watch but can also be a great learning tool.
