Accessibility Upgrades! ♿

Hey everyone!

We're super excited to share some big improvements in accessibility that just went live in the latest update of our Go game!

Our goal has always been to make the game fun and easy for everyone to enjoy—and that means making sure it works great not just with a mouse or touchscreen, but also for players who use a keyboard, screen reader, or assistive tech. Here's what we've added:

🔷 Better Keyboard Support

You can now navigate the game’s menus and controls using just your keyboard! Tab through buttons, use Enter/Space to activate them, and never worry about needing a mouse to play or adjust settings.

🔷 Visual Focus Indicators

We’ve added clear outlines and glow effects when you’re moving through the interface with the keyboard. This helps you always see where you are on the screen.

🔷 Screen Reader Friendly

Behind the scenes, we’ve added labels and descriptions that work with screen readers. This means players using tools like VoiceOver or NVDA can now understand what each button does and follow game updates more easily.

🔷 Accessible Toggles and Sliders

Settings like sound, music, theme, and AI difficulty are now easier to adjust with assistive tools. They’re labeled properly and respond to keyboard input the way you’d expect.

🔷 Live Game Feedback

Important updates during the game—like who just scored or which move the AI played—can now be announced to screen readers in real-time. So you’ll never miss a thing!
