We’ve been cooking up something special in the Fridge Chef kitchen — and today, we’re serving a feature many of you have been craving: Favorites! Plus, we’ve given our search tools a major upgrade across the entire app.

Ever generated a meal plan and found a recipe so good you wanted to make it again (and again)? Now you can!

Each recipe in your meal plan now has a little heart icon. Tap it, and that dish is instantly saved to your personal collection.

Where do your favorites go? Right to your brand-new "Favorites" tab on the main screen — your personal digital cookbook.

From your Favorites, you can:

• Revisit any recipe you’ve ever loved

• Jump straight into Cooking Mode for a saved recipe

• Instantly view the original meal plan it came from, so you can see what else was on the menu

It’s the perfect way to build your go-to collection of meals that always hit the spot.

🔍 Smarter, Faster Search

As your list of favorites and past plans grows, finding what you need gets more important — so we’ve rebuilt our search experience from the ground up.

Here’s what’s new:

• No More Focus Jumps – The search box now stays focused while you type

• Smoother Results – Results show only after you pause typing, for a less jumpy experience

• Quick Clear – An easy "×" button lets you clear your search in one click

Whether you’re digging through past plans or hunting for a saved favorite, search is now faster and more intuitive.
